MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST: SATURDAY, July 5th at 8:00 am. All men are welcomed to join us for a morning of worship, fellowship, and a delicious breakfast.

THE CHILD STEALER MUSICAL: MONDAY, July 7th at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Prior to the show we will have a potluck supper at 5:30 pm. We will be hosting the Academy of Arts Drama Ministry Program. All the young adults have a place to stay on Monday night. Thank You LCOOS Family for blessing them. ICE CREAM TOUR – FRIDAY, July 11th at the La Plata Town Hall from 3:00pm -11:00 pm. This is sponsored by WGTS. The ice cream is free. There will be music and games and prizes. Anyone who would like a free WGTS sticker or magnet for their car can get that as well. It is also an opportunity to meet and say goodbye to Stacey and Johnny who are retiring from radio in August. They have been the afternoon hosts at WGTS for 9 years.

VBS: MONDAY, July 14th to Friday, July 18th 9:30 am – 12:00 Noon. This year’s theme is “LIVE IT OUT.” There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex. Many Hands Make Light Work!
LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY: FRIDAY, July 18th and 25th at 7:30 pm via internet/online. We may be meeting in person, that is still in the work. Beth Mays is leading us as we read “Get out of Your Head” by Jeannie Allen. Beth suggests you get the Get Out of Your Head Bible Study Guide which includes the Streaming Video. LCOOS CRAFTERS FOR CHRIST – MONDAY, July 21st 2:00 pm – In person in the Bible Study Room (across from Pastor’s office). This is a new ministry inviting all crafters, quilters, artists, and assistants (those who want to learn) to gather together. We will share time in the Bible, fellowship and create items for monthly focused outreach such as The Catherine Foundation, veterans, assisted living residents and others. COMPASSION TRAILER –The Compassion Trailer will be back on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, (September 4th, 5th and 6th.) from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm each day. Then after that the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each month. We need people to sign up to man it. Please see the signup sheet on the table in the narthex. There are currently seven Compassion Centers in Maryland. Over 500 people come daily for help with the physical necessities of life and for the nourishment of spirit that only Jesus can give.
