NEW BIBLE STUDY: We have completed our study of Lutheranism and other Denominations. We will resume on Saturday September 12th at 1:30 pm. We will be reading the book “Pilgrims Progress”. This book is a famous Christian allegory written by John Bunyan in 1678. It follows a man named “Christian” who journeys from his doomed hometown “City of Destruction” to the “Celestial City” (Heaven) overcoming various temptations, doubts, and monsters along the way. The story is a spiritual metaphor for the trials and perseverance of the faithful, detailing several key themes and elements. Ultimately, the story illustrates the struggles individuals face in maintain their faith in a difficult world, relying heavily on Christian doctrine and scripture. It sounds like it’s going to be a good read! More information will be forthcoming the closer we get to September.
