CHARLES COUNTY FAIR: Thursday, September 17th through Sunday, September 20th at the Charles County Fair Grounds. We will be passing out “Living Water” and tracts this year. We are asking for a $5 donation from each family to cover the expense of the water. Please give your money to Shea Gronau. We will also need volunteers. There is a signup sheet on the table in the narthex.
COMPASSION CENTER: THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY, September 4th, 5th and 6th Hours are from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Everyone, regardless of income, is welcome to purchase home goods, clothes and other necessities from the center.
ALTAR GUILD: Needs help taking down communion after the 11:00 am Worship Service. It will only take a few minutes. If you are interested, please speak with Rosa or Rich & Helena Petitt.
COFFEE HOUR: We have coffee, tea, donuts and other snack items right after the 8:30 worship service and before/during the 10:00 Bible study. We need someone to set it up in the Fellowship Hall. You do not have to purchase anything. Just set it up. We would like people/families to sign up for one month at a time. That way we only need 12 slots. If you can help this ministry, please contact Rosa Ammons. There will be a sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex.
SECOND SATURDAY SOCIAL: SATURDAY, September 12th, 2026. – 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Join us for Boot Scootin’ and Supper at Stephanie Schaffer’s house. Line dancing lessons will be provided by the lovely ladies, Stephanie Scheaffer and Elizabeth Braun. Skill level required ….NONE. We will also have other games to participate in. Most important, come for the line dancing, stay for the fellowship. If interested, there will be a signup sheet on the table in the Narthex – please be sure to leave your phone number. NEW BIBLE STUDY: SATURDAY, September 12th at 1:30. Join us, in the Bible Study room across from Pastor’s office or via Zoom, as we read “Pilgrim’s Progress” (Updated Edition) by John Bunyan. More information was sent out with last Thursday Notes and will be sent out again this Thursday.
