BIBLE STUDY: SUNDAYS after the 11:00 am Worship Service. Mary Farber is leading us in the Book of Mark. Everyone is welcome to meet in the Bible Study Room across from Pastor’s office. Just show up and bring your Bible.
ALTAR GUILD: The Altar Guild is looking for a couple of people to fill in occasionally when there is a need. If you are interested, please speak with Rich or Helena Petit.
MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST: SATURDAY, April 4th at 8:00 am. All men are invited to join in as we worship, fellowship and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
E72: SATURDAY, April 4th at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited to join us as we go into the surrounding area and pray for our neighbors.
BIBLE STUDY: SATURDAY, April 4th at 1:30 pm in the Bible Study Room across from Pastor’s office or via Zoom. We are digging into Lutheranism and other Denominations. There is a free downloadable PDF which you can also print. It was sent out in Thursday Notes. Look for the Zoom link in your email.
MENS’ BIBLE STUDY: THURSDAY, April 9th 6:00 pm in the Bible Study Room across from Pastor’s office. This is an “In- Person” Bible Study. All men are invited to join us as we study God’s Word. Any questions, please speak with Chuck Mays.
COMPASSION CENTER: Will be here at LCOOS on Thursday through Saturday – April 16th, 17th, and 18th. From 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Everyone one (regardless of income) is welcomed to visit and purchase merchandise from the Compassion Center. We are not able to accept any donations. They must go through Grace Lutheran Church in La Plata. Please help spread the word and support the Compassion Center by telling everyone you know about it. LWML MEETING: MONDAY, April 13th at 7:00 pm via Zoom. All ladies are invited
NEW LADIES BIBLE STUDY: FRIDAY, April 17th, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Led by Laura Tinsley. We will be reading “BLESSED” Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Revelation by Nancy Guthrie. We will be meeting in person in the Bible Study Room across from Pastor’s office. Then after that it will continue every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. We will try to see if we can work it out via Zoom. There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the narthex. The book can be purchased through Amazon or any used book site. The downloadable PDF is $3 per person (we can place the order, and you can reimburse LCOOS the $3). If you have any questions, please speak with Laura or Rosa.
EASTER LILIES: It is not too late…. If you’d like to help beautify the altar for Easter Sunday, and off set the cost of flowers, there is a signup sheet for Easter Lilies on the bulletin board in the hallway of the church. This year we ordered 24 single stem lilies. They are $15 per lily. You may take them home after the 11:00 am service on Easter Sunday.

All levels are welcome! We anticipate riding out 30 min and riding back 30 min for an hour ride. 🤗 Then we will drive to The Farmhouse Cafe & Creperie for a brunch & fellowship around 10:30 am in LaPlata. ☕️ Please remember to secure helmets and bring water bottles. Let Heather know if you’d like to join us. 😎 This is one of our last TWO SSS’s before we close down for the summer (June, July & August).
